Losing America

"This book was written out of frustration after seeing what was happening in America over the past couple of decades. It was first published in July of 2021, but was updated in late 2024 to reflect the Phoenix-like re-emergence of Donald J. Trump as our 47th President. Decades ago, the visible decline of America started under the Clinton administration, then visibly worsened under the Obama administration, and overtly peaked under the utter incompetence throughout the Presidency of a cognitively declining Joe Biden from 2020 to 2024. In only four years, everything in our country had turned upside down. All the familiar institutions were no longer the ones we grew up with—the schools and universities, the laws at all levels, the religious boundaries, the culture—everything in the landscape of America was perverted. Our national borders were ignored by millions of illegal immigrants; urban riots and property destruction were ignored while our police were neutered by weak, incompetent mayors and governors; our social limits were disregarded as to sex and gender; some of our most revered sports figures became disappointing; our economics and inflation exploded due to the intentional limits put on our production of natural resources; rampant inflation of our budget and reckless spending put the dominance of U.S. currency at risk; and wars broke out in several critical locations around the globe because our enemies had no fear of retribution. All because of the lack of true Leadership, at the highest levels, and surprisingly also at the levels of Congress, the Supreme Court, and power at the highest levels in many of our law enforcement agencies such as the FBI and CIA. Hopefully, readers of this book will be sensitized to the realities of law, economics, and politics, and how governmental political philosophy truly reaches down to every thread that makes up the very fabric of America, including our level of influence in the world community. Marxism and socialism are alive and well, and as President Ronald Reagan stated, America is always only one generation away from failing. And that “failing” will result in Communism, no different than what we see in Russia, China, North Korea, and many other Third World countries. In the national elections of November 2024, the emergence and awakening of our logical, Common Sense, majority of Voters has resulted in the decisive victory of Donald Trump as our next president, with majorities of conservatives now in control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. But it remains to be seen if Trump-- and the Congress-- can resurrect America, or if the damage has been too extensive to repair. Our future depends on the collective wisdom of “We The People.” Pray for our country; it’s all we have left for our children."
